October 24th: “Fall at the Farm”

Feathers and leaves meet pumpkins to create fall-inspired works of art!

After a crisp start to the day, we had a great time collecting bits of nature around the farm to use in our pumpkin decorating. Experimenting with melted, recycled crayons gave us some really cool effects!

We learned about bat house habitats and after helping to build our own, we walked the woods to find the perfect spot to hang it. We can’t wait to check it out next month and see if a bat family has moved in!
